Good Afternoon members,
I have a 1974 TR6 that has been parked since 1986, I have done the following:
New Breaks all 4, cleaned all hoses, new master/servo rebuilt Calipers x4
New Clutch master, hoses and slave
New Fuel pump, filter, lines, cleaned and sealed tank, new sensor
New Water housing, Pump, thermostat all new hoses, into the car, Radiator was cleaned and pressure tested, new cap
New fan belt
New Plugs, wires, coil, all new parts in distributor, rotor, Cap,
All new gaskets on manifold and carb manifold, carbs have been rebuilt (Tom did those) New exhaust
I have a battery and have turned the car over, about a yr ago to test compression, 125 across all 6. I did spray PB Blaster in all 6 for a few days and did a hand crank before testing, turned over strong.
One thing I’m totally lost on is the Evap…and the insane emission controls
So now I’m at the point were I need the Pro’s ….. To be honest, I’m a little nervous at this point, I don’t want to destroy all this work I’ve done.
If anyone with STRONG Carb skills, and overall knowledge would be willing to come out to my house and assist, I would be so Thankful, I can provide lunch (grill burgers or Pizza) and Ice Cold Tea. I suggest an early start to beat the heat. I live in Wake Forest.
