The weekend kicked off with the Blue Ridge Tour. A very nice afternoon saw many British cars headed toward the Blue Ridge Parkway in search of vistas for some and to others, answers to several landmark questions posed by Ron Hassell.

With a cloudy start on Saturday the sun came out mid day and the afternoon was beautiful for the car show. The 39th Gathering drew 302 registrations for the car show and several racers to compete in the TCOC Autocross in spite of the threat of rain.

The Autocross was held at the Surry County Community College facility in Dobson.  The venue is a track space used by the college to train emergency response driving skills.  It is well suited for Autocross activity like ours.
