An informal gathering will occur (weather permitting) for the Charlotte Region TCOC to Drive your Triumph to celebrate Sir John Black’s birthday (see TT newsletter for details). I am driving my TR6 and taking a photo to send in to Rye Livingston for this global event. If you care to join me for the photo and/or lunch around 1:00pm on Sunday, February 10, please do. Just a fun to do in your Triumph as the weather will be mild. Just a gentle reminder.

Hi everyone,
It is that time of year when we get our old cars out for a drive in the Winter. We have to hope and pray for good weather this year! Linda and I went out this morning and mapped out what looks like a fun drive. We are going to try for a stop over at Fairtrade beverage again, it looks like a fun stop. And the Starlight Meadery has moved to the same location so there will be plenty to see. I have setup a tour with Fairtrade around 3:30.
Terry sent out the meeting location in an earlier email, I will send out more details soon, have to type them up still, but let’s shoot to start meeting at 2 next Saturday and get going by 2:30. The drive to Fairtrade is about 40 miles and takes about one hour.
After the tour we will drive back to our house for chili and fun.
And as always, the chili will be served rain or shine, the drive is optional in bad weather. If you cannot do the drive or the weather gets in the way, be at our house 5 to 5:30, that is when we try to get back from the drive as well.
More to come, I will give details on the drive for folks that are new to the club in the next email.

Following the Tech Session at EVR in Denver, NC, a group of us will depart via US 321 to Blowing Rock for lunch at The Ridgeline (formerly Canyons) arriving around 1:00pm. Several of us make take a more scenic circuitous route back via the Blue Ridge Parkway. Weather Permitting, naturally.
Please ensure you are gassed up prior to the Tech Session at EVR, so that we can get on the road in a timely manner.

Spring country Drive via back roads from Mt. Holly/Huntersville/Lincolnton area to Valdese, led by George Lafave. Please meet up at the Chick-fil-A just off NC16 and Mt. Holly-Huntersville Rd around 9:45 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. departure. A leisurely back road drive to enjoy the scenery, finishing up at Myra’s Diner in Valdese (see separate meeting notice).
