Edenton Drive

Hello all

I want to invite everyone to join us for a tour of Historic Edenton, NC on May 8-10th

Edenton is located about 2 hours east of Raleigh and about 1.5 hours south of Virginia beach, so this could be done as a single day trip or as a weekend getaway. Check out Edenton’s guide and notice the first picture in particular  https://www.visitedenton.com/

We are staying at the Inner banks Inn, and currently I have 15 rooms reserved.
To reserve a room the contact # 252-482-3641 and we are under the name of MAARC
https://www.innerbanksinn.com

Overflow if needed will be the Hampton Inn, so reserve early if you want to stay with all the cool kids.

Agenda
Friday the 8th – Arrival – we will have a dinner place chosen and dinner will be at around 7

Saturday the 9th – We are going to start the day late so people can drive in for a one day event
Breakfast from when you get up til 9:45
9:45 drivers meeting and the tour starts at 10. The actual driving time is about 3 hours but we are going to have frequent stops and lunch so figure on returning to hotel around 4PM. This will be a leisurely drive, the next tour will be in the mountains and will be a driven with a little more vigor.
7 PM Dinner at the hotel restaurant called “The table”, it is a farm to table type restaurant, it is exquisite and it is to my taste.

Sunday the 10th is mother’s day – no events scheduled – time just to relax and explore the waterfront.

Please let me know if you are going, and if you are staying at the hotel or just for the day. Also let me know what meals you will be joining us for.

There will be a variety of sports cars on this drive so expect to see a variety of both British and Italian vintage cars.

Cheers
Kevin
