The Gathering is an event held in the foothills of North Carolina every year. Many cars of British heritage are displayed within the vineyards of Shelton’s Winery, Dobson NC. The car show is free for all spectators and incorporates all years of cars manufactured by any British car company. Other events include:
- Scenic Drive Challenge in the Blue Ridge Foothills
- Girls Night Out dinner
- Children’s events
- British Parts Auction
- BBQ Dinner
- Autocross race
This year the Gathering’s featured marque is Austin Healy Sprite and 100-4.

Join us for a beautiful spring event at Dog Head Farm on Twin Chimney Road in Shelby, North Carolina, for our Annual Broad River European Classic Auto Show, a show of vintage and classic European/British automobiles & motorcycles. There is no admission fee for spectators and a Food Truck will be on site if you would like to purchase a sandwich.

First, second and third place trophies will be awarded for each class plus an overall Best of Show. Voting will be from 11AM until 1PM by Peers with trophy presentations around 2PM.
Directions to the show from 74: Turn South on DeKalb Street (Shelby High and McDonalds intersection), proceed through 2 stop lights and cross the first Broad River bridge, then turn right onto Sam Lattimore Road, then right onto Twin Chimney Road and proceed to the show! If you use Mapquest, inputting 2151 Twin Chimney Rd, Shelby, NC 28152 will get you there.
