ABOUT OUR FESTIVAL
First held in 1982, our British Car Festival is among the oldest of its kind and one of the few multi-day British car events on the east coast. Over 150 entrants from more than 10 states participate each year.
We welcome all British marques and makes in all conditions. A show-quality car is not needed to share in the fun of this great event. Awards are based on voting by participants!
The car show is staged over several acres among the massive trees and lovely river views of Ridgeview Park in Waynesboro. The Skyline Drive, Shenandoah National Park, and Blue Ridge Parkway are a 10 minute drive from the show.
Our Friday night reception has proved to be very popular, so please add it to your schedules. Details of venue coming soon.
Awards- based on our participant voting – will be presented on field around 3:00 p.m. We ask that vehicles remain in place until end of show and ceremonies if possible.
Door prizes will be awarded on the field to pre-registered participants.
We have show classes for:
British Motorcycles and British DNA/Kit Cars
DNA/Kit? Vehicles with significant British linkage in styling, engineering, or manufacture.
The first Saturday of each month is BBC Breakfast at Olympic Restaurant Breakfast, which is where some of us we head over to Colfax, arriving around 8:00am to kick a few tyres (if it is warm enough), and then head in for breakfast.
So, if you are able to sneak out of the house before the weekend’s Honey Do List is announced, please join us this coming Saturday for breakfast at BBC Breakfast at Olympic Restaurant, which is at 8900 W Market St, Colfax, NC.

TRiad Region Fall Leaf Tour – 24 October 2020
Dear TCOC Members,
The TRiad Region will host a fall leaf tour and picnic on Saturday, 24 October 2020. We will meet at Oak Ridge Town Park (6231 Lisa Drive, Oak Ridge, NC) at 9:45 AM. The group will then take a contorted, backroads route to Hanging Rock State Park (1790 Hanging Rock Road, Danbury, NC) followed by a picnic lunch (eat what you bring). We will briefly stop at the Priddy General Store (bring masks for safe social distancing if you plan to enter the store) before reaching Hanging Rock. At Hanging Rock, there are many picnic tables for safe social distancing. After lunch, there are hiking opportunities of varying lengths for those interested (0.4 miles to several miles), visit the man-made lake, museum, or other activities.
This tour is brought to you by Robert “Pedro” Yokely, humbly assisted by Ron Hassell, so please RSVP to Pedro (yokleyrobert@gmail.com) and Ron (rjhassell@aol.com) by 21 October if you plan to attend. Let’s hope the fall colors are vibrant this year.
