Welcome from the Central Ohio Center of TRA
The Central Ohio Center of the Triumph Register of America cordially invites you to the 2024 TRA National Meet which will be held at the Mohican State Park Lodge near Perrysburg, Ohio June 17 through June 21, 2024. This will be the 50th anniversary of COCTRA and TRA and we plan to make it a special celebration for our vintage Triumphs. Although details are still being finalized, we will definitely have an off-site Welcome Dinner, a Poker Run, a Fun Rally, a guided driving tour to nearby Amish country, a Membership Meeting, a Parts Auction, a Concours and Participant’s Choice Car Show and an Awards Banquet. Some of the COCTRA TRA Committee have been to the Lodge and have met with the Manager, James Calderhead, who is proving to be most accommodating. He is doing everything he can to make our stay both memorable and enjoyable.
The Parts Auction is always fun, entertaining and a great way to obtain some rare and useful parts for your Triumph. If you plan to bring items for the auction, the rule of thumb is: if you wouldn’t use it on your car, please leave it at home. Obviously, parts need to be clean and (preferably) painted.
The roads around the Lodge are well-suited for our driving events, so heavy traffic shouldn’t be a problem. The tour to Berlin, Ohio should prove interesting to anyone who is interested in the Amish way of life. Berlin is a tourist town complete with many shops and restaurants.
Instructions for all drives will be printed within the Meet Program, so nobody should get lost. Lodge reservation instructions are included on the Registration Form. We suggest that you make your Lodge reservations soon and be certain to mention that you are booking for TRA 2024 to obtain reduced pricing. Also, we suggest that you call the Lodge in the morning hours as there is one person on the front desk in the late afternoon and getting through may be an issue.
The 2024 TRA Meet team is putting together a collection of events to keep everyone busy and there will be plenty of opportunities to kick back and relax with old and new friends.
Again, we welcome you to the 50th anniversary of COCTRA and TRA. We hope you choose to attend our celebration. As the TRA Facebook page becomes available, we will post updates.
