On August 21, twenty-three members of the Eastern region met for dinner at Driftwood Cantina. The restaurant is located at Lafayette Village in North Raleigh.

The weather was great and we enjoyed driving our Triumph as did others. Several people suggested to put Driftwood Cantina on our regular rotation.

The staff put us in a quiet nook and took very good care of us. The prices are fair, and the portions are very generous. They said our club would be welcome back anytime.

It seems to be harder to find a dining venue that caters to our needs of not paying with one check and or a limited menu. So far Mellow Mushroom in Cary and Driftwood Cantina accommodate our needs with pleasure. These two spots may become our regular go-to haunts.
