The Club wide Christmas Party is also the time when we recognize some of our members for their hard work and dedication and we do this with two awards we give annually. The first is the Bill Wood Memorial Award which is given for long service to the club and exemplifying the spirit of our group. The recipient is decided Communications / Promotions Chair by the past 3 winners and this year Jon Keil the award went to Larry and Gail Cormier. Larry and Gail are serving as GATHERING Registrars and have been very active in the Triad Region.

The second award given each year is the Jim and Nancy Tillman Member of the Year. The plaque on the perpetual trophy says it is given to someone who has kept the club running “like a well-oiled machine.” This year the award was given to our outgoing Newsletter Editor, Garrett Brady. Garrett has done an outstanding job as evidenced by the consecutive Newsletter Awards VTR has given us the last two years.
